a. Albumin is synthesised in liver. It maintains blood pressure in blood plasma and also regulates osmotic balance of cells and body fluids.
b. Thrombin acts as an enzyme and converts fibrinogen into fibrin threads which form clot at the wound site.
c. Fibrinogen is a plasma protein. It is converted into fibrin threads by thrombin which form the clot at the site of injury.
d. Globulins are plasma proteins. They act as carrier for vitamins, hormones, lipids and also form antibodies, thereby playing an important role in immunity.
